Equine Experiential Learning has many meanings and applications but is simply exploring one’s feelings and behaviors in an experiential educational format. The depth of the learning at Gentle Gaits is solely up to the participant’s openness and willingness to engage. Learning, self awareness and enlightenment occurs when we interact with the horse. It is learning by doing and may take place during short periods of time, such as during a workshop or regularly scheduled sessions.
Exploring the Healing Power of the Horse -Foundation and Prerequisite for all Gentle Gaits programs....
This program consists of 4-6 hours designed to explore and understand the depths of how the horse can resonant our authentic selves. Because our goal is to develop a true personal bond between our facilitators (including the horses) and participants. The program is limited to 8 so we can ensure that each individuals objectives are met.

Integration of the Equine Spirit
This two day program consists of one on one facilitated sessions focusing on the true understanding of human and equine energies and how they integrate and resonate. Deeper self awareness and growth are the ultimate goals. These sessions can enrich your personal and equine relationships; enlighten your personal awareness; provide a deeper appreciation for the wisdom of the horse and provide a space for personal healing and growth. Overnight accommodations and some meals are provided. Limited to 6 participants.

"Mind over Matter; Heart & Spirit Overall" TM
Our signature program is a truly unique experience that offers anyone the opportunity to put your "mind" over everyday "matter" with the horse showing you how to let your "heart" & "spirit" lead the way. The uniqueness of this program is dependent on the participants willingness to tap into their authentic self and deepest emotions using a Gentle Gait healing horse as the facilitator. Balancing Self Realization and Equine Performance
This program is designed to enhance the rider-equine relationship. To teach your horse to stop resisting and be calm, responsive, trusting, and brave you must first acquire those qualities yourself. The Introspective Ride is a magical experience. Connecting with one of Gentle Gaits horse Facilitators will open opportunity for you to find parts of yourself that you haven't touched in a very long time.
